However, Will's hard work comes tumbling down when he fails the very last, biased exam, disqualifying him from entering the Wizard's Tower.Meanwhile, Elfaria and the other Magia Vander—the five most powerful mages—perform the annual ritual that protects their world from the dangerous Celestial Hosts. As the ritual temporarily leaves the Magia Vander drained of magic, a large army of monsters suddenly appears and begins attacking mages and civilians alike.
